MY REVIEW

Whether you have already fallen in love with Don't Wake the Dragon, or not, you need to grab a copy of Who Loves the Dragon? and share it with a young reader in your life. This delightful sequel is filled with just as much interactive fun as the first book. Whether readers are counting to ten to help Dragon calm down, blowing kisses to the knights as they ride off into the forest, or stroking Dragon's scales, they will be involved in the story and waiting for their next opportunity to help. One of my favorite requests is to tell Dragon something kind - always a good idea.

Being excited over an upcoming event and then worrying that everyone has forgotten it is something that youngsters can identify with. Who hasn't been worried at one time or another about missing a birthday party, sleepover, or other special get-together? But with some deep breathing, dancing, and even marching, perhaps you and your special reading buddy can help cheer up Dragon as she waits to see if the Friendship Festival will happen after all. Oh! And when you finish the book, don't forget to give it a good hug!
