And wherever Lilly goes, Filly’s right underhoof, turning rainbow leaping, mane braiding, and cake baking into crashing, tangling, splattering messes! When Lilly’s temper finally snaps, Filly canters sadly away. Lilly wanted her Pega Sister to go―so why can she no longer have any fun without her?
Anyone with siblings will knowingly smile and roll their eyes, and all readers will laugh along with this rollicking, punny summer camp romp, which also serves as a sparkling reminder that sisters make the most marvelous magic together.

MY REVIEW
I love airplanes, just ask the students at my school. We do lessons on aviation and space flight all year and the library is decorated with model planes and other aeronautical gear. When I heard that there was a new book about a little bush plane, I had to read it! The book does a great comparison between several types of airplanes - turboprop, cargo, jet, and bush plane. The short descriptions point out major differences with just enough details for young readers, and the illustrations show each plane in a different color to make them easy to identify.
The story itself feels like a modern version of The Little Engine That Could. Each of the larger, faster planes brags about how wonderful it is and then they all fail to rescue the stranded hikers. The little bush plane is worried, but willing to try, and its small wingspan and lighter engine make it perfect for the job. The diagram and glossary of terms at the back of the book are helpful for answering questions for budding aviation enthusiasts, as is the short explanation of where bush planes are used and how they can be adapted for use on bumpy ground, snow, and even water.
If you know a young child who adores vehicles of all sorts, or planes in particular, then pick upa copy of this book to share with them. Up, up, and away!
