Per giveaway question:Slowest activity ever for me was a wheelbarrow race as an adult! As a kid, no problem, as an adult, slow going.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but I love sloths and I'm sure our kiddies at school will too. Sounds like a fun and interesting read.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win! Love April Pulley Sayre's books!
ReplyDeleteSlowest activity ever was running my first 5K. I got passed up by a 78-yr-old woman. I was the only one in my age group though, so I got a trophy.
ReplyDeleteReading a book slowly means to enjoy every line.
ReplyDeleteMy slowest activity ever was creeping in traffic on I-95 South on Thanksgiving Weekend coming home...never again :)
ReplyDeleteI lived in the DC area for five years. I-95 and the Beltway were the banes of my existence.
DeleteSlowest activity I've ever been involved in is emptying the dishwasher with my six year old son. He can drag out anything, but it still amazes me to find that what should be a ten minute chore has suddenly taken over an hour. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteFor me it would be my cocker spaniel trying to climb inside the dishwasher and investigate - that always slows things down!
DeleteMy slowest activity ever trying to swim a distance! Thanks for a chance to win this fun book. Joy Walker Ithaca School District, RC WI
ReplyDeleteMy slowest activity is meditation. Everything slows down when I meditate.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity to win this book. Turtles are my favorite animal!
Love this idea and the book has be great as April's books always are. I tried to leave a comment but I was not able to leave one even though I logged in. Good luck with your contest! ;-) Jeanne D.
