Matched is the first book in a series by Ally Condie. The story is set in the future in a world where society tells you what job you can have, where you can live, and even who you can marry. It is dystopian fiction (similar to
Hunger Games) and I would recommend it to readers with good comprehension, because it has some challenging parts. My favorite character is Ky. I have read the whole series and I plan to see the movie when it comes out.

There is also a
fan site for the movie based on the book. Disney has purchased the option to make movies of all the books in the series.
