MY REVIEW

Wes is in a situation that turns up fairly often in movies and television shows, the rookie cop who has flubbed his first assignment and is sent to another squad in disgrace with the warning that he only has one shot at redeeming his career. To rub salt in this particular wound, Wes comes from a family of overachievers and even has a father who is also in law enforcement. Great. No stress, no pressure. 

When Wes arrives at his new post, it seems that someone is having fun at his expense. What's up with all the crazy steampunk weapons? And the absurd badge with the crossed broomsticks? This has got to be some cruel and unusual punishment for his mistakes. But the deeper into the case he and his partner go, the more Wes starts to see and believe things he had never thought possible before. Maybe his crazy partner really does know what is going on and how to save the beautiful Morgan Pendragon.
